Connect Groups
Life is better in community.
Connect Groups at Bridge Church are small discipleship communities that meet regularly—some weekly, some monthly—either at the church or in homes throughout the Tri-State area. These groups are where real relationships form, faith deepens, and we learn to walk out God’s purpose for our lives together.
Whether you’re looking to grow in your faith, build authentic friendships, or just find your place, Connect Groups are a great next step.
What Happens in a Connect Group?
Each group is a little different, but most include:

Worship – lifting our hearts together

Biblical Study – applying God’s Word to real life

Discussion – honest, meaningful conversation

Prayer – supporting each other through every season
Most gatherings last about 90 minutes. Some groups offer childcare, depending on the location and leaders.

Serve with Purpose
Bridge Church doesn’t happen without our team.
Every Sunday, dozens of volunteers step up to make church feel like home—from welcoming guests and leading worship to caring for kids and running production. We call them the Bridge Crew—and they’re the heartbeat of our church.
No matter your gifts—music, creativity, hospitality, leadership, organization, or working with the next generation—there’s a place for you to make a difference.
Why We Serve
At Bridge Church, we believe God designed each of us with unique abilities for a reason: to build up the body of Christ and bless others. Serving is one of the best ways to live out your faith, grow in community, and discover how God wants to use you.
We need each other—and the Church is better when everyone plays their part.
Where You Can Serve
There’s a role for everyone. Here are just a few ways you can get involved:

Production: Tech, lighting, slides, livestream, and sound.

Children’s Ministry: Teach, play, and invest in the next generation.

Youth Ministry: Build relationships and disciple students grades 6–12.

Hosts: Greet, guide, and welcome with intentional hospitality.

Worship: Sing, play an instrument, or help shape the sound.

Media: Photography, video, social content, and creative projects.
In The Community
In August 2019, Rosemont Grace Brethren Church entered into a ministry partnership with Assist Church Expansion as a Revitalization project. In order to more effectively reach our local community for the Lord, we partnered with Assist to develop a customized plan to reach more people in Martinsburg for Jesus. Bridge Church is the result of that plan!
The Assist Vision Team was led by Pastor Andrew Leasure. The team consisted of Katty Leasure, Keith Michael, and Jessica Michael in collaboration with Pastor Andrew as they followed God’s lead for His church and developed the strategy for an exciting and new path forward.
